Text or email

Text is the preferred and quickest means of communication. Email is also reliable but may take longer for a response. Lyrin responds in order of inquiries oldest to newest.

It is advised to be patient. To ensure fairness. Every new inquiry is at the “bottom of the list”. This is the result of the system used, since every text/email does not create a new thread, every new message added, will force the thread even an existing thread to the bottom of the list of inquiries.

Consult

It all begins with an idea

At time of consultation, all the parameters of the commission, terms and policy will be discussed. All information will be logged on a commission contract form. Clients are encouraged to bring any images and or description to assist in communicating their concept. At time of consultation it is encouraged to ask any and all questions pertaining to commissioning Lyrin for work.

If both parties agree to terms of the contract, then booking a day and time for an appointment will be discussed.

Book

$100 Deposit is required to book

At time of consultation, upon agreement and signing of commission contract, scheduling and availability will be discussed. $100 Non-refundable deposit will be required to book. This deposit is solely for the reservation of Lyrin’s time. This deposit does not grant any rights to artwork(s). This $100 deposit will be reimbursed at the final appointment of this contract.

Any breach of contract will FORFEIT the deposit.

Drawing

Artwork, drawing & drafts

Preparation of tattoo commissions are done either the night before or morning of scheduled appointment.

No artworks, drawings and drafts will ever be sent digitally or physically. The few exceptions are reserved for large and complex commissions. For these projects, it would be discussed during the consultation and clients would have the option to schedule a viewing appointment.

Appointment

Arrive healthy and ready

It is recommended to arrive 10 minutes early but not necessary.

Running late? please contact ASAP. Usually a few minutes late won’t be a problem, but more than 30 min late may need to reschedule.

Be sure you are healthy for your appointment; Area of the body is healthy and clean, healthy a clean mental state. Be sure to have eaten and are hydrated. If you are unfit for your appointment, you will need to reschedule.

You may have a guest with you during your appointment. Be sure they are not disrespectful or disruptive.

No matter what is happening, it is strongly encouraged to communicate concerns and issues.
